Keywords

Product Release(s)
03.00.07 build 1
Operating System(s)
Linux (glibc 2.1)
Linux (glibc 2.0)
Linux (libc)
Problem Description
When Creating RecoverEDGE the program always fails because /dev/loop0 is in use.
Cause
Loop Devices in modern Linux operating systems can become attached (busy) through various processes the OS is running.
Solution
If this happens when creating your RecoverEDGE media, exit to the shell and type the command:

losetup -a
The above command will show all attached loop devices, then increment your choice by 1 to get the next detached device.

Then run RecoverEDGE, at the menu select configure-Boot Media. Under this menu, you can change the loop device under Media Temp Partition.
