October 2016 Newsletter - End of Support Life - BackupEDGE 2x Products

If all of your servers are running some release of BackupEDGE 3.x, this email does not apply to you. Our apologies.

Microlite Corporation is announcing that on Saturday, December 31st, 2016, all BackupEDGE 2.x products will reach the end of their support life.

Phone support has already ended, as Support and Maintenance Subscriptions for our BackupEDGE 2.x products have all expired. As of January 1, 2017, email support will also end.

We don't want anyone to be without support, so we've lowered the price of the BE3PUL upgrade from $250 to $200. This will still include a one year Support and Maintenance Subscription (SMS).

This is your opportunity to get a major upgrade at a bargain price. You can pay just $200 now, instead of $500 later, to get BackupEDGE 3.x.

Prices for BE3PUL2, BE3PUL3, BE3PUL4, and BE3PUL5, with 2 to 5 year Support and Maintenance Subscriptions, have also been lowered to match. Please contact our sales department for volume pricing.

Friday, December 30th will be the last day that upgrades from BackupEDGE 2.x to BackupEDGE 3.x will be available for sale. After that date, licensed users will be required to pay the full retail price of $500(US) to move from BackupEDGE 2.x to BackupEDGE 3.x.

Emergency call-in support for BackupEDGE 2.x products will remain available at our consulting rates. This is currently $250.00 per hour billable in half hour increments.

Remember to check our Linux Support Tables and Unix Support Tables to make sure we support your current operating system(s). You must remove BackupEDGE 2.x products completely before installing 3.x products.
