We've got some announcements this month that should make you very happy!
Lower Prices on Support and Maintenance Subscriptions
We've lowered the price of Subscription Extensions to $150.00 (one year) and Subscription Renewals to $225.00 (one year). This has a cascading effect, as multi-year Extensions and Renewals get even bigger discounts. Further, purchasing new licenses with multi-year Subscriptions is now a lot less expensive.
US Non-Profit / Canadian Charity Pricing
As of July 1, 2016, all US non-profit and Canadian charity licenses and pricing are discontinued. Non-profits and charities may now apply for a 10% rebate directly from Microlite Corporation by filling out and returning the Rebate Form available here and from our online price lists.
BackupEDGE 03.01.03 build 6
We're pleased to announce a small update to BackupEDGE. We have now made release 03.01.03 build 6 available for download. As always, you can find the latest information about any changes in our Changelog.
Training Classes - SIGN UP NOW
We are preparing to repeat the online, GoToMeeting-based training sessions. If you have suggestions for additional online classes, please let us know.
These classes are all open to both resellers and end users. For privacy reasons, we also won't record them, as the sessions are interactive and we respect the privacy of our resellers and end users.
You may sign up now at https://www.microlite.com/online-training. Each class will be held twice. Sign up for one or all classes on our simple web registration form.
Here is some brief information on the classes...
- Using the Basic Scheduler (~1 Hour).
We'll review all of the things you can do with the Basic Scheduler, plus touch on Master/Incremental/Differential Backups, Notifiers, adding multiple Domains to a Backup Schedule, and more.
- Using the Advanced Scheduler (~1 Hour).
We'll talk about Domains, Sequences, Triplet Scheduling, Precedence, multiple Schedules per day, and much more.
- Cloud (internet) Backups via Amazon DevPay [AWS] (~45 minutes).
We'll add AWS support to an Amazon account, add support for BackupEDGE to Amazon DevPay, then configure a BackupEDGE Resource for DevPay and configure backups.
- Cloud (internet) Backups to Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage and others using the S3 API [S3CLOUD] (~1 Hour).
We'll walk through all the steps on both the cloud provider side and the BackupEDGE side to do backups to internet storage sites via the standard S3 capabilities built into BackupEDGE.
Legacy Product Support Expires 2016/12/31
On December 31, 2016, all support (including email) for BackupEDGE 1.x and BackupEDGE2.x will end. This includes email support. For more information on this, please see the LICENSES NO LONGER SUPPORTED section of our Support web page. All licenses should be upgraded to BackupEDGE 3.x by December 31, 2016.
