followed by a system crash.

Release
-
BackupEDGE (Release 01.01.00)
Problem
-
When I try to run a backup to a remote tape drive, I get the message:
"Flushing Network Buffers! ..." between volumes.
The system then hangs.
Cause
-
Most likely Double Buffering is turned on. Double Buffering
is not meant to be used with network backups. The problem lies
in the fact that 64 k of data is being sent through an
8 k pipe, thus causing a bottleneck.
Solution
-
Turn off Double Buffering from the menu or eliminate the
'S' option from the command line.
