Problem Description
|
|
When attempting to initialize media after creating an ftp resource, BackupEDGE appears to connect but fails with the error 'file ctl' not found.
|
|
Cause
|
|
BackupEDGE transmits and receives zero length files in the normal course of operation. Some FTP Servers do not permit the reception or transmission of zero length files.
|
|
Solution
|
|
You should upgrade your BackupEDGE to 02.02.00 to remedy this issue. This build allows your ftp program to correctly handle a 0 length.
