Problem Description
I set & exported the environment variable VOL_SWITCH_CMD for my
autochanging tape drive. The command issued works from the command
line but not from edgemenu.
Cause
This is caused by an error in the documentation & an error in the
environment variable definition in /etc/default/edge.cfg.
Solution
The variable is incorrectly identified in /etc/default/edge.cfg as
VOL_SWITCH_CMD. A search of the edge binary shows it should have
been SWITCH_VOL_CMD. Make the correction in /etc/default/edge.cfg,
as well as in your manual (page 106).
This will be corrected in later releases of BackupEDGE &
in later printings of the manual.
