Problem

RecoverEDGE will not Autodetect LILO on Hard Disk. LILO must be manually set in config -> boot loader while booted to the RecoverEDGE diskettes. LILO may also fail to install on the boot floppies.

Cause

LILO ver. 2.1 - RecoverEDGE will not Autodetect on Hard Drive. At press time of this document, the cause is unknown.

Solution

LILO must be manually set in config -> boot loader while booted to the RecoverEDGE diskettes.

This problem has been referred to the development staff for identification & correction. Recommended action at this time is to wait for an upgrade.
